Garden

The Vruddhashram has a good garden in the premises. It is a place where old people come to rest and share moments of joy with each other. It is one of the peaceful places of Vruddhashram. The old people walk & relax in the garden. Shri Devenbhai Sheth has taken up the job to put up the beautiful garden at his cost at JIVAN SANDHYA.

Temple

The vruddhashram has a temple inside the premises. Each ashram has separate temple. The JIVAN SANDHYA has Lord Shree Krishna and old building has Lord Shiva. In both the temples people do morning and evening prayers together. Also each room has a speaker in the room for those who cannot come to the prayer hall or temple they can listen to the prayer while sitting in their room. It is a place which gives them a feeling of unity. The atmosphere around the temple is divine.

TV Area

The Vruddhashram has three TV watching areas at each floor so that the people of the ashram can watch the TV and enjoy. There are some special times like cricket match where all the peoplewatch the Tv together and enjoy the cricket match.

Picnic (twice a year)

The inmates are occasionally taken out for religious yatras, visits to historical places, lakes, seashores, rivers etc. This provides a change of atrnosphere and imparts to them the much needed information and exposure. This is being arranged twice in a year without any charges. Such trips are also being arranged by giving financial help individually.

Other Amenities

Besides all the above facilities and advantages the residents of the ashram can also bring their own elctrical appliances like Fridge, Gas stove, T.v etc which they can put in their room for which the Ashram does not charge any single paisa for the electricity. Thus, after considering all the above benefits and advantages, one of the inmates commented the ashram as ' The Swarg" for the them. That is "HEAVEN ON EARTH"
